Watch: Jesuslesfilles shares stop motion video for new single ‘Third Week’, announces new album ‘The Ideal Hour’

Montreal rockers Jesuslesfilles have announced their next album, The ideal time, slated for release on June 18 via Duprince Records. As part of the announcement, they shared a compelling video for their new single, “Week Three”.

The new track is about the obstacles that arise when trying to accomplish something while not being fully ready for the task. The accompanying stop motion video follows black and white cutouts of the group singing to the tune and going about their days.

“’Third week’ is doubled by an animated stop motion video produced by the essential (and rather good) Philippe Beauséjour alias Phil Console – the first part of a triptych in which the group, led by the emblematic cow- boy Daniel, prepare his trip west in search of an Eldorado: you have to start somewhere if you want to at least get halfway there.
