NBA 2K22: more realistic animation adds interest
BY ANTOINE DAVIS / VN STAFF EDITOR
NBA 2K22 has its pros and cons, and it comes from an avid gamer.
NBA 2K9 is the first version I played.
Compared to its predecessors, this game, which hit the market on September 10, has some positive improvements.
The animation is more realistic and the graphics are the best I have seen in years.
Most importantly, you can create a player in your image. Or, if you are a current college or pro gamer, you can use your own image to play the game.
Clothing brands also have a better selection.
One of my favorites is Eric Emanual.
The customization of the shoes is always available.
One of the best updates is improving online play with friends.
The creators have done a great job expanding the “city” so that your player is more able to move around in the game and has a better variety of places to go.
Just as there is good in this version, there are also disappointments.
There are considerable delays when playing the Jordan Rec Center which is the same as last year.
The jerseys are no different either.
The game can also cause your player to be late.
It’s also harder to win because the computer is much harder, making it harder to get badges to improve your player.
Despite the few issues with the computer and the lack of cosmetic improvements, I recommend trying NBA 2K22.
