Alkemy X expands with 8 new recruits

Alkemy X announced the addition of eight new hires to support the company’s growing set of projects as it expands into multiple global markets. Aligned with the company’s 40th anniversary, new hires are split between the company’s design, post-production and live-action teams. The growth also includes an increased presence in Los Angeles as well as in Singapore, Vancouver and Toronto.

In the post-production division, Sue Fallon joined as senior producer in New York, while Jess Vanacore joined as post-producer in Philadelphia. Fallon brings over 15 years of experience, with a collaborative approach to producing integrated editorial work, as well as design and animation projects. Vanacore has worked on the traditional business work from concept ideation to production, release and final delivery.

Alkemy X’s graphic design team, led by Creative Director Rupert Cresswell, added senior designer Marcus Mabane. Previously a video animation analyst at Aon, Mabane was also a motion graphics designer for companies such as Power Home Remodeling, WPVI-TV and Yext, and holds a degree from the University of Philadelphia in Animation, Technology. interactive and video graphics and special effects. The graphic design team recently collaborated with the VFX team to create a map projection experience in New York City to promote the launch of the new Hulu series. With the flow of visual effects work boosted by the return to production after production disruptions, Alkemy X brought new talent to its VFX division. Rebecca Schmidt joined the team as VFX Production Coordinator; Ben Jarrett joined us as a junior systems engineer. These hires follow the addition of ILM alumnus Abhijeet Naswagare as pipeline manager and Brandon Young as CG supervisor.

The influx of new talent also includes the addition of Isaiah Carey as an associate producer in Alkemy X’s live action division and the promotion of Olivia Rotondo to the role of Social Media Marketing Coordinator. , after having occupied this position part-time.
